Friday, July 31, 2009 Class outing Yayy... Got chance for another class outing! 7th August, after nat day celebration!!! YAY!!! Choose: 1) Movie 2) Bowling (yay) 3) karoke (?!?!? not my idea) dun drag until too late though, i gtg in evening like 5+ on that day.. XD Suggest!!! Monday, July 27, 2009 ... Yeah... Jiahui is right. I am not saying this for any other reason other then because its the truth. Both of us are your mentor reps, and our job is to keep the class in line, and in order to do that, we should at least receive the cooperation of everyone, at least to just listen to us when we tell you to do something... ... Hey guys... We all know what happened today during mentoring. Now, Ms Wu has every right to get pissed at us. I mean seriously, she is doing a lesson on respect and there you guys are, showing disrespect right in front of her. We are all year 4 already, and some more in such a good school, not some kind of lousy neighbourhood school. If even they can know the meaning of respect, who are we to give excuses? No point being so smart and pro if even the smallest things in life, such as paying attention, cannot be achieved! I'm not going to go into a speech on how we should have respect, what are the good things about respect, bla bla bla... I'm sure all of you know VERY WELL what it is. There's no point in me blabbing on if none of you are willing to listen, and none of you are willing to internalise it. Such a thing as proper respect can only be achieved when you really internalise the true meaning of respect, only then can you show proper respect. The teachers are our seniors, regardless of how nice they are. Ms Wu, Mr Ku, Mr Yee. These are the teachers who let us treat them as equals. But this does not mean we can disregard them. They are still above us, and we must still look up to them. This applies to ALL teachers, and, although not SO compulsory, to everyone in general, even when they are our juniors. And since we are on the topic of respect, as your mentor rep, I take great pains to ensure that the class is always as good as it can be. I try my best to lead the class on. If my ways are a bit weird or not so nice, go ahead tell me, and I'll improve on myself. I am learning constantly, from every bit of criticism and advice i receive. As a fellow classmate, i dun mind if you guys screw around with me, disturb me, try to piss me off etc. But as your class rep, i feel that i deserve a little respect, when i am trying to guide the class on, or when i am making announcements or something, at least try to pay attention. You know who you are. you dun like me, I'm fine with it, you think you can do a better job? Go ahead, take my place, otherwise, please please please, at least keep your mouth shut and keep your non-constructive opinions to yourself. That is pretty much all i have to say. 404, i would sincerely be glad if all of you can just take maybe 5 mins to reflect on what I've said. Can we ALL make a conscious effort to be more respectful to ALL our teachers in future? And also, i think we all owe Ms Wu an apology... * HINT HINT* Friday, July 24, 2009 Yo! Updated the homework list. Thank me. Or thank god also can. lol..so 'Reuben'. Chinese a lot of hw leh...that's why cannot fit on the class calendar, must write on class blog. Anyway...please please please keep to the class duty roster. I know a lot of classes don't but WE should still try to keep OUR classroom clean. Yup, keep the classroom clean, clear the dustbin, throw your food wrappers or bottles etc into dustbin outside classroom, sweep the floor, listen to me when I ask you to throw the trash (guo taiyu if u don't listen to me I make sure u listen to sab)....and I will be eternally grateful to you. XDXD lol And and, our class fund currently stands at...... $0.00. we had around $50 at the start of this year, half spent on present, the other half on Liang Jun's BBQ party. I know I damn cheapskate la, but continue contributing so I can be paid for the airfreshener. LOL Have a pleasant weekend ahead! Tuesday, July 21, 2009 Happy bday darryl!!! XD Wednesday, July 8, 2009 Hey guys... Long time no blog, eh? Anyway i think i should say this... The dirt yesterday was HORRIBLE. i had to literally clean every single tile with water and tissue (coz the janitors dun have a mop) Some people claim that the school is your second home, then if that is true, the classroom should be your second room. Personally, i think thats quite true. I mean seriously, i reach class at like 6.35-6.40 and leave at like around at least 3+ most of the time. That means i spend like over 8 hours everyday in E1-13. Now, my room is damn messy, if i say so myself. But at least its clean. I dont expect you guys to constantly be cleaning the class or anything, but AT LEAST, even if you do not agree with me, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN DIRT. If you are not going to help keep the class clean, at least do not make it dirtier. Couple of 1. most simple, yet often the hardest to be kept--- Do not litter 2. If you eat in class ( which you should not be doing in the first place) at least throw your rubbish in the dustbin outside the class. especially drinks or stuff (its right outside) 3. Do not enter the class with dirty soles. 4. If you DO enter without realising, stop walking around and dirtying the rest of the class. get out, clean your shoes, or take them off (not really adviceable). 5. If you see rubish on the floor, pick it up and throw it into the dustbin. 6. If the dustbin is overflowing, empty it. These are all general stuff you should know. Take initiative, and help the class out. I dun mind cleaning the class, but that does not mean you can leave every mess for me to clean. Its hard to keep the class clean, and even with help from some more responsible people. It takes the effort of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. keep the class clean, improve our learning habitat, and we will naturally improve our learning qualitiy. thx in advance, :) LJ PS: on a lighter note,  LOL |
